Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
Thank you! Every pledge taken in a mother's name was honoured on 12 July 2026. Friends of Yogi volunteers across the state planted saplings and did their part in building a green Uttar Pradesh.
On Sunday, 12 July, at CM Yogi ji's call, the state took the pledge to plant 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' under the plantation maha-abhiyan. The programme was held across Uttar Pradesh with a target of 35 crore saplings in a single day.
Friends of Yogi volunteers took part wholeheartedly — 36 volunteers from 27 districts planted saplings and shared their photos, and many brought their companions along too. In all, 72 people participated in the drive.
Each volunteer's photo was set in the Friends of Yogi frame and shared on Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media — every picture a testimony to the pledge of a green Uttar Pradesh. Now comes keeping the promise: care for your sapling and watch it grow.
